Mission Statement

A solid music education is necessary for the development of a well-rounded individual in Mr. Noel

whatever path they choose for the rest of their life. The BSHS Orchestra strives to provide a robust music education experience which will nurture and inspire all its musicians of all levels toward lifelong passion and engagement with music.

Mr. Noel moved to Spartanburg after teaching all types of music in public schools for 19 years in the SF Bay Area, California, during which he served on the California Orchestra Directors Association Board, auditioning and seating the bass sections for the Jr. High State Honor Orchestra, State High School String and Symphony Orchestras, and Wind ensemble.
