About Us

Boiling Springs High School (BSHS) is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the northern portion of Spartanburg County in the Upstate Region of South Carolina. One of two high schools in Spartanburg School District Two, BSHS serves the Boiling Springs community as well as those areas west of the line dividing Boiling Springs areas schools from the Chesnee areas schools.

The population of the Boiling Springs attendance area has been increasing rapidly. Since 1990, the community has experienced a growth rate of 114.48% and population since 2000 shows a 53.5% increase. The population over the next few years is expected to continue to grow. The rapid growth of the areas has been attributed to the increase of industries in the surrounding areas, resulting in many new housing developments emerging in this part of Spartanburg County.
